Frequently Asked Questions

What services does Pacific Sun Energy offer?

We provide end-to-end residential solar solutions, including system consultation, custom design, permitting, installation, and utility interconnection. Our focus is helping California homeowners understand their options and install solar systems that make financial sense.

How do I know if solar is worth it for my home?

Solar isn’t right for every home. During your consultation, we review your current utility usage, roof condition, sun exposure, and local utility rates to determine whether solar will actually save you money. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you upfront.

How long does the solar installation process take?

Once permits are approved, the physical installation typically takes 1–2 days. The full process—including design, permitting, and utility approval—usually takes several weeks depending on your city and utility provider.

Is there a warranty on the system?

Yes. Solar systems come with manufacturer warranties on panels and inverters, as well as workmanship coverage on the installation. We’ll clearly explain all warranties during your consultation so you know exactly what’s covered.

How do I get started?

The first step is a free, no-pressure consultation with Justin Burns or a member of our team. We’ll review your home and energy usage, answer your questions, and explain whether solar makes sense for you before moving forward.

Will solar really lower my electricity bill?

When designed correctly, solar can significantly reduce or eliminate your monthly electricity bill by offsetting utility usage. Actual savings depend on system size, energy consumption, and utility rates, which is why every system we design is customized.
